© The Tree Scene

Syaoran is up in a tree watching Sakura-tachi talk about the theory of stuffed bears and luv. Syaoran whispers "love?" to himself and who happens to show up right under him? Eriol! ^^ and he looks up at Syao-chan in the tree and tries to talk to him. At one point Eriol smiles (while he says Syaoran's full name) and Syaoran's eyes go blank as he falls out of the tree. Below Eriol catches him with the cutest worried face. Syaoran comes to in his arms and Eriol asks him if he is alright, when in reality he had caused him to faint on purpose by throwing a spell at the mention of his name. Syaoran realizes where he is and jumps out of his arms..thanks him for catching him and runs away all freaked out while Eriol grins and thinks about what an interesting person he is and how he can be useful.

Eriol just wanted to feel him up and make him stop gawking over the girls.

Notes: CFB-chan wrote me and brought up an interesting subject. She said that Eriol usually has to touch things to cast spells on them and therefore he had to 'touch' Syaoran by making him fall out of the tree. While this is true, it is also proven that he doesn't have to 'touch' everything to put a spell on it. Like the elevator, the Penguin slide, the flying horse etc etc. So I'm sure if he 'really' wanted to use Syaoran he wouldn't have even had to touch him at all with the sewing strings in his possesion. Let's say though that for this spell he 'had' to touch him. Then comes the curious question to why he had to go and make him fall from a tree when he could have waited for another more convenient time..like brushing by him in the sewing store while he bought his string.. It leads me to think, Eriol had something other than 'convenienve' on his mind. It is a GREAT point on her part though ^_^

© The Strings Scene

Eriol goes to buy some string with Sakura and Syaoran makes a jealous fool of himself, like usual, infront of them. Eriol smiles and says that even though he is an 'obstacle' to his goal..he still could prove quite useful. That night Syaoran mysteriously starts attacking Sakura, no matter how much he tries to stop his body will not quit moving on it's own. Sakura realizes that there are invisible strings attached to him and frees him of them. Meanwhile up in the mansion, Nakuru whines about Eriol's plan being defeated. Eriol smiles as the strings on his fingers disappear.

Eriol was jealous of the attention Syaoran gave Sakura so he decided to tie him up and make him attack her.

© The Basketball Scene

Syaoran and Eriol are matched up against each other at Gym class. Syaoran is to make a basket against Eriol, but he is so disconcentrated that Eriol easily maneuvers it away from him and makes his own point. On the second try Syaoran is pissed and tries harder. Eriol sensing his determination comes up behind him and whispers into his ear, as Syaoran prepares to take the basket. He gives him encouragement, telling him to concentrate on his goal and to believe he can make it. Well what do you know he makes it ^^ and as Eriol smiles and walks away..Syaoran is left thinking about him.

Eriol can't resist sneaking up on the boy, and helping him out. He likes to leave a mysterious expression. It was his words, not Sakura's cheering, that reached through to Syaoran ~_^

© The Pool Scene

Syaoran challenges Eriol to a race. Both of them start swimming fiercely. While swimming Eriol thinks to himself about how determined Syaoran is to win. In the end Eriol wins and Syaoran mentally rebukes himself. He lays back in the water and starts to float. Eriol comes up next to him and gives him a few mysterious words of encouragement, that seem to strike a cord in Syao-chan cause he scrambles to stand back up, just as Eriol has turned to exit the pool. Sakura tries to get Syaoran's attention but the boy is fixed on Eriol. She even tells him he is so out of it and no matter how sweet she is to him..he is so stunned that he doesn't even blush, like he usually would.

There's more of those words of wisdom, Eriol just enjoys toying with Syaoran's mind. Perhaps he just wanted to check out the cutie's physique all wet so he accepted his challenge heheh. Notice Syaoran wont blush in 'thinking about Eriol' mode. And that curious lingering gaze..

© The Ski Scene

The whole gang goes to a ski resort for a few days. Eriol is an awesome skier and he comments about how well Sakura is doing on her first time skiing and how Tomoyo is also great. Tumbling down the hill comes Syaoran, he flies by them freaking out the whole time. Sakura notices that he can't stop and is heading right for a tree at the bottom. She and Tomoyo start screaming and who darts right past her to save him? That's right Eriol ^^ he lunges himself down the slope and makes it just in time to have Syaoran slap into him. Eriol smiles sweetly as he asks if Syaoran is alright. Syaoran is dazed from the experience, also confused and upset as he realizes it was Eriol who saved him. Eriol extends a hand for him to get up but in his bull-headedness Syaoran decides to get up himself. Eriol drops him another piece of advice and Syaoran demands to know what that means but Eriol just smiles and the other boy stares at him in deep thought. Right then Sakura and Tomoyo noisily come in (just in time to ruin the moment).

Why oh WHY didn't Syaoran take his hand? arrrggg I was just waiting for it to happen and for them to bond, Eriol saved his life damn it >_<. Then his train of thought gets cut off when the girls come in arrrggg!
