Introduced in Volume 3, The Noah family consists of several "superior" humans who fall under the Earl's command; and are the main antagonists of the series. Extremely powerful, these people are claimed to be decendants of Noah, sent to eradicate the "False God" and their followers, the Exorcists. They claim to be the "True apostles" of the "True God" and are searching for the "Heart", the core of the Innocence, which is believed to be the determining factor for victory. They will destroy anyone and anything that gets in the way of their goal, and are currently targeting the Exorcist Generals. They are known to command the Akumas made by the Earl and use Dark matter in much the same way Innocence is used. They have a variety of powers that seem only vulnerable to innocence.

They appear in two forms (3 if you count their demonic, creepy appearance) "white" and "black". Their most defining feature are the set of "cross" marks on their foreheads in their "dark" mode reffered to as "Holy Marks" by a preist in volume 10. They also have an HQ of sorts in another realm called "Mitsuboshi" or "Three Stars" which can apparently only be accessed by the Earl/Family in their dark form.

So far, only five members have been formally introduced. One more seen but nothing known about her. Speculation-wise it can be said there are anywhere from 8 to 12 Noahs. 12 because of the number of places pictured at the Earl's table and because King Arthur had 12 knights (though in other legends it was 24 knights which could correspond also to the Noah's double forms). 8 comes from the phases of the moon which were pictured on the backs of the chairs, and because 8 humans survived the flood on Noah's Ark (which can also correspond to Arthur's alternate 24 knights if you count 3 forms for each Noah). Recently as of chapter 96 it is believed that there will be 13 Noahs all together, as the Earl tells Skin that he is one of the 13 children of God. It brings the number down to 12 as one traitorous Noah was killed by the Earl a long time ago for giving up the secrets to of the Ark to a human.

***It has just been discovered that the Earl and the Noahs posses the "Ark" the same original ship used by the original Noah of the Bible, "their ancestor" to escape the flood. Only now it is being used to manufacture Akuma. The Ark can only be controlled by the Earl and the First Child, Rodo.***

In volume 10 Rodo refers to the Noahs as the "sacrificial lambs" important to the Earl because they will be offered to appease God.

As of Chapter 98, Rodo reveals that every member of the family possesses a specific "trait" of Noah. Rodo = Dreams, Tiki = Pleasure, Jasdavi = Bond, Skin = Wrath.
