This is a believable pairing. Syaoran seems to be one of the believers of the possiblity of these two, since he is soo jealous all the time and sees Eriol as competition. Eriol does drop numerous hints and misleadings through out the series also when it came to her. Even Tomoyo teased Syaoran by saying that it seemed like the story-line of a girl's comic series, and we all know how insightful she is. If it weren't for Syaoran and Kaho in the picture this could be a major possibility.

This seems to be a big favorite among CCS fans. Sure with S+S why should Tomoyo and Eriol be left all alone? However Eriol really has never shown much interest in the girl in the anime. He is nicer in the manga, but never really connected with Tomoyo on any level. The only thing going for this relationship is that they do look cute together and they are both keen. If Tomoyo wasn't so gaga over Sakura and Kaho wasn't around..you never know.

Yes ladies and gents, unfortunately in the manga this is Eriol's official pairing. 27 yr old Mizuki Kaho. Although, in the anime it is never directly stated and no huge hints are dropped, it is still implied for those who look for it. Obviously I think you can see my distaste for this couple because of the 'cradle-robbing' going on, but we can't argue with CLAMP ne? The reason I put Kaho's name first was because in the manga she confessed to him and plus she is the 'eldest' making her the aggresor.

This is my personal favorite ::evil grin:: it's just one of those 'rival love' things that fangirls squeal over. Eriol is undoubtedly nice to Syaoran and looks out for him, much to the wolf's dismay. He also enjoys playing with his mind and making him blush. He refers to him affectionately in the manga too. Why this? Easy..it has to do with Eriol's past life. It is strongly suggested that Yue was in love with Clow in both the anime and manga. The gentle way in which Eriol refers to the past and the confusion that Yue goes through when he finds out about the whole Eriol/Clow thing..suggests that Yue is capable of harboring feelings for Eriol if not vice-versa. If Sakura was not his new mistress, Yue would have undoubtedly stuck by Eriol's side. If not for Touya, Kaho, and the whole story line, this could happen.

I could never leave this pairing out. These two became instant friends. Chiharu herself said "Hiiragizawa-kun and Yamazaki-kun are compatible types". They seem comfortable the few times they are seen around each other. Also in the anime Yamazaki took Eriol's departure hard, never again telling another lie. If not for Chiharu and Kaho you never know, they say friends make the best lovers ^^*
